Message From Chairman

The department of Nursing and Health Science is one of the specialized departments of the Health Science Faculty at Jashore University of Science and Technology. It is a highly demanded field of study for students from home and abroad. It was the first of its kind in the field of nursing at the university level in Bangladesh. It is a field of study that is dedicated to improving human lives through advancing nursing care application. The department has the aim to widen the service areas of nursing and to change the traditional image of nurses, and develop nursing administration and leadership in the medicine and healthcare sector. Students need to get admitted to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program through a very competitive exam with a strict screening policy. We have dedicated faculty members to provide high-quality education and train the students to effectively apply the education to patient care and research, thereby contributing towards the benefit of our country and humanity. Students have the opportunity to undertake clinical practice in local health care settings from the first year of the course. During the course, the students will gain valuable experience to develop their skills. We prepare our students to face the complex challenges of the 21st century.
